Driving directions to the cathedral

We suggest you park in the Third Street Garage, which is free on weekends until 6 p.m., and a flat rate of $2 after 6 p.m. every day. Metered parking is available on St. John Street. Click here for more parking information.

• From Hwy 101 (San Francisco) South: Exit at Guadalupe Parkway (Hwy 87). Exit at Julian Street. Turn left onto Julian. Veer right onto St. James Street. Turn right on North Second Street. Turn left on Santa Clara Street. Turn left on North Third Street. Parking garage is on the left.
• From Hwy 280: Exit Guadalupe Parkway (Hwy 87) North: Exit Santa Clara Street. Turn left on North Third Street. Parking garage is on the left.
• From Hwy 85: Exit Guadalupe Parkway (Hwy 87) North: Exit Santa Clara Street. Turn right on Santa Clara Street. Turn left on North Third Street. Parking garage is on the left.
• From Hwy 101 North (from Los Angeles): Exit Hwy 85. Exit Hwy 87 (Guadalupe Parkway) North. Take the exit for Santa Clara Street. Turn right on Santa Clara Street. Turn left on North Third Street. Parking garage is on the left.
