Youth

In case youth haven’t heard, Trinity Cathedral has a youth group! We’ve been meeting every Sunday Night at 7 pm for Fellowship, Fun and Discussion. We started meeting in September 2005 with a BBQ at Gary Hull’s. At our first meeting, we had 9 teenagers and 4 adult sponsors. If everyone came to the same meeting we would have 16 active teenagers. Yet after so much success some of our teens have not discovered this fantastic group. Parents are complaining that their teenagers are begging them to go to church! Come find out why at our next meeting.

We have been meeting regularly since Fall 2005 and have had an average 8 youth per Sunday with an all-time high of 25 youth at our Halloween Party. The youth pitched in and put on Parents Day Out and helped in the production of Fumbly Bumbly Angels. At each youth meeting, we spend time in fellowship, playing games, icebreakers, eating, while learning about God, ourselves and growing in our faith. Shane Connolly, Sharon and Jim Gibson and Gary Hull are the leaders of this group.

Both the children and youth ministries are led by Gary Hull, a seminary graduate who formerly worked in the Methodist Church, but now belongs at Trinity.
